The project was a training course for youth workers, that took place at Urdd Glan Llyn Center Bala, Wales, UK, between December 15-22, 2014 and its aim was to highlight how young visually impaired / blind people may be involved in various outdoor activities in the community and in international youth projects. Participants, were from Romania, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal and the UK.

During this training, the participants learned techniques to accompany / guide young blind and visually impaired people, how to adapt to the needs of the young disabled people regarding various outdoor and indoor activities. The participants also were informed about various visual impairments and how these affect vision.

Participants also developed new ideas for activities with young blind and visually impaired and have established a network of national and international partners with which to implement future projects and activities involving young disabled people.

To strengthen competencies and skills acquired in the early days of the training course, in the second part young blind and visually impaired were invited and together with the participants took part in different outdoor and indoor activities.
